Snow makes for slippery road conditions

Heavy snow began falling early Tuesday afternoon in Williams Lake

The sky in Williams Lake is all white after flurries started falling in the early afternoon on Tuesday.

With temperatures hovering around -2 degrees, and the snow still falling road conditions are starting to get a little slippery.

DriveBC reports slippery sections along most of Highway 97 in both directions, with compact snow and slippery sections along Highway 20 as well.

Drivers are urged to use caution on area highways.

Temperatures are expected to warm up on Wednesday, reaching a high of nine degrees in the afternoon.
