All schools and offices in School District No. 27 are closed today, Tuesday Jan. 6. All staff and students are advised to stay home.
If students do arrive at school, arrangements will be made to have them returned to their homes, according to the district.
The school closure followed a school bus cancellation announcement earlier Tuesday morning. The area is currently under a winter storm warning, with freezing rain falling.
