On Wednesday, Feb. 3 in Williams Lake Provincial Court, the matter was adjourned until Feb. 17 to fix a date for a preliminary inquiry.

Guy William Smith, 55, faces one charge of manslaughter and one charge of committing an indignity to human remains in connection with the death of Cariboo Lake resident Gary Price almost three years ago.

Last month Smith elected to be tried by judge and jury in B.C. Supreme Court.
