A shopping centre is expected to built at the Prosperity Ridge site.
Platform Properties Ltd. says the shopping centre, which will be located near Walmart, will offer approximately 100,000 square feet of retail space upon full build-out and will bring new retail opportunities, including home improvement, fashion, restaurants and other retailers.
"This is great news for Williams Lake," said Mayor Kerry Cook. "We have been working with Platform to assist in moving this project forward and we welcome the new retail opportunities and jobs the new Prosperity Ridge Shopping Centre will provide."
The first phase of Prosperity Ridge Shopping Centre will be open to the public in early 2012.
