Enjoy a little mingling or perhaps become the next bridge champion by taking part in a few of the games and events taking place at the Seniors Activity Centre.

Lois Paterson, who became the new president of the centre on July 7, says there is always something going on at the centre and encourages seniors to come on over.

Events taking place this summer include bridge, water colour painting, poker, carpet bowling, cribbage, and feldenkraise. Or get outdoors in the beautiful sunshine (or refreshing rain) with the walking group.

These programs must be used in order for them to stay, Paterson says.

She says there is bingo every Saturday, and there is birthday Monday to celebrate the birthdays of those over 80 years old.

The centre also offers a grief-support group, fitness, bingo, and computers for seniors to use. The cafeteria also offers lunch served daily.
