Recreation is a very important part of life at the Williams Lake Seniors Village.
At the beginning of every month, many of the residents/tenants are itching to get their hands on the recreation calendar to see what they have to look forward to or what they need to sign up for. It gives many of the residents/tenants a purpose.
There are approximately 175 residents/tenants living at this facility, and the recreation department goes pretty hard all day to get as many residents/tenants involved in programs as they can but sometimes this isn’t always possible.
This is where family or friends can make a difference in the lives of their loved one. The recreation department has many resources to choose from, especially for spending one-on-one time with a resident/tenant.
We are more than willing to lend these resources out to any family member or friend. Family and friends are also more than welcome to pick up a monthly calendar, available at the front desk. Take a look, and if you see something you would like to join in with your loved one please do so.
