The Williams Lake RCMP are warning they received a report of an attempted abduction from Columneetza School Monday afternoon.
At 3:29 p.m. a student was approached by a white male with a beard in his 30s to 40s who tried to grab her after asking if she needed a ride, the RCMP said.
The male reportedly tried to grab a second student, but was again unsuccessful.
The suspect male was with a female in what was described as a dirty older four-door white car.
Police are asking the public to report any information they may have in relation to this incident immediately to 9-1-1.
