Four men have been released from custody after being arrested Friday when the RCMP executed a search warrant at a home and seized drug paraphernalia.
"Just after 11 a.m. officers entered a residence in the 1100 block of Second Avenue North and arrested the four men located inside," said the RCMP in a press release, adding the North District Emergency Response Team was requested to assist as the occupants were known to police and it was suspected firearms may be involved.
Police said the investigation is ongoing as they remain committed to enforcing laws against illicit drugs.
Any with information about drug trafficking is asked to contact the Williams Lake RCMP at 250-392-6211 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
