RCMP seize cocaine, money, cell phones and vehicle

RCMP recommending charges against five individuals after seizure of cocaine, money, cell phones and a vehicle.

The Williams Lake RCMP are recommending charges against five individuals after a search warrant resulted in the seizure of a quantity of cocaine, money, cell phones and a vehicle.

On March 18, 2016 at 11 p.m. police executed the search warrant in the 1100 block of Second Avenue North.

The General Investigation Section (GIS), Police Dog Service and General Duty officers assisted with the search.

It is anticipated the individuals will be charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

"This is the second search warrant executed in this neighborhood within a week and is another example of the Williams Lake RCMP’s commitment to reducing crime in the community," the RCMP said in a press release. "The Williams Lake RCMP remains committed to enforcing laws against illicit drugs."
