The RCMP are searching for 49-year-old Lonnie Widdoes of Williams Lake.
On Thursday, Sept. 24 at 3:02 p.m. the Williams Lake RCMP received a report he was missing.
Information provided to police was that Widdoes left his residence around 8:00 a.m. Thursday morning and was expected back within a reasonable time, but did not return.
Late in the day, Widdoes' truck was located in the Sheep Creek Bridge area but he is still unaccounted for, police said.
Search and Rescue has been engaged and a full search was initiated at first light.
Widdoes' family is very concerned for Lonnie’s well-being and police are asking anyone who has any information regarding Lonnie’s whereabouts to contact the Williams Lake RCMP at 250-392-6211.
