Williams Lake RCMP are searching for an adult female suspect in connection with a stabbing that occurred in the 1000 block of Eleventh Avenue North at about 5:45 p.m. Sunday.
Staff Sgt. Del Byron said it appeared the victim, who was treated and released from hospital, was stabbed while attempting to break up a fight between two females.
The matter is still under investigation. If anyone has information about this incident they are asked to contact the Williams Lake RCMP or CrimeStoppers.
