Williams Lake RCMP are reminding the public to secure their vehicles after a theft and attempted theft in recent days.
Staff Sgt. Del Byron said a 1995 red Dodge pickup truck was taken from the 1400 block of Western Avenue between 6 and 11 p.m. Dec. 28.
The vehicle is described as having a yellow light bar and a black stripe on its sides as well as a lift kit.
The license plate number is ET4082.
On Dec. 29 at 1:33 a.m. police also received a report of an attempted theft of a 2003 Chevy Silverado in the 700 block of Mcdougal Street.
Police said the ignition and steering column were damaged as a result of the attempted theft.
