Reports of an attempted abduction of a student at the Lake City Secondary School, Columneetza campus last week have turned out to be false.
"As a result of the police investigation it has been determined that no criminal event occurred," said RCMP Staff Sgt. Del Byron today, Friday, Feb. 5.
Police have been investigating a report received on Monday, Jan. 25 about the attempted abduction of a female student that was alleged to have happened at the Columneetza campus about 3:29 p.m.
