RCMP are investigating a break and enter at Sushi California

RCMP Const. Toby Klassen at California Sushi Thursday morning where someone committed a break and enter sometime overnight, stealing a cash register and $300.

Police apprehended a young offender Thursday who they believe was involved with a break and enter at Sushi California.

Sushi Californi is the latest business to be broken into in Williams Lake.

Williams Lake RCMP Const. Toby Klassen who was at the scene Thursday morning said whoever broke in used a rock to smash the back door and a quantity of cash was taken, Klassen said.

Staff Sgt. Del Byron said police received a call at 7 a.m. Thursday about the incident.

“It is still in the early stages of the investigation,” Byron said.
