Rash of thefts from vehicles parked on Williams Lake's South Lakeside

RCMP remind people to lock vehicles after a rash of thefts from vehicles parked on South Lakeside.

The Williams Lake RCMP are reminding people of the importance of locking vehicles and keeping valuables out of sight after a rash of thefts from vehicles parked in residential driveways in the South Lakeside Area.

"All the vehicles that were preyed upon were unlocked," the RCMP noted. "Some of the items taken from the vehicles were: a satellite radio, a black wallet with identification and care cards, GPS , satellite phone, and a cordless Stihl power saw."

A Recurve Bow, green and yellow, with  the number 55 on it, along with a number of arrows in a clear plastic container, were also stolen.
