A rash of break and enters took place overnight Tuesday in the area around Broadway Avenue North and Proctor Street, the RCMP said Thursday.
“We had thefts from vehicles in the 300 block of Broadway, with smashed windows and wallets taken,” Staff Sgt. Del Byron said. “A set of tires were stolen, but later recovered nearby.”
Two Husqvarna chainsaws were stolen in the 900 block of Proctor, and after locks were pried off a shed door in the 300 block of Broadway Avenue, a Mastercraft tool set and golf clubs were stolen.
Another shed was broken into, but nothing was stolen, Byron added.
The thefts are still under investigation.
