The Quesnel River Research Centre will hold its annual open house on Saturday, Oct. 1.
“Beginning at 10 a.m., a series of short presentations will describe the variety of research activities hosted here during the past year,” said QRRC manager Michael Allchin.
“While many of these have related to continuing efforts to improve understanding of the impacts resulting from the tailings dam breach at the Mount Polley Mine in 2014, there have also been other events on which to report.”
The open house will culminate with a barbecue lunch, and there will be an opportunity to tour the centre’s facilities.
