Police are looking for Matthew John White

The Prince George RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating Matthew John White of Prince George.

The 28-year-old has not been heard from since July 29.  Before he was last seen he indicated he wanted to visit friends, the police said.

It is believed he left the Prince George on July 10, 2015, but police have not been able to confirm anyone has spoken to him since July 29.

After an extensive investigation in Prince George and other communities, police are asking the public’s help in locating White.

Family and friends believe he may have travelled to Kelowna, Kamloops, Barrier, Vancouver or Calgary.

Although investigators believe White has left town on his own accord, they would like to speak to him to ensure he is safe.

He is described as a caucasian male, six feet tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. White does not have a vehicle and may not have a phone.

White is asked to attend any RCMP detachment or police service of jurisdiction to speak with an officer. Anyone with information about him or his whereabouts is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800- 222-8477, online at www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca (English only), or Text-A-Tip to CRIMES (274637) using keyword "pgtips".

Tipsters do not have to reveal their identity to Crime Stoppers.
