The second round of public engagement regarding the Sam Ketcham Pool in Williams Lake will be taking place from Oct. 11 to 13, at several locations around the city.
The first session goes tonight (Thursday) at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex at 7 p.m. Consultants from Professional Environmental Recreation Consultants Ltd. (PERC) have been contracted to develop the pool feasibility study and will be setting up booths to engage with community members.
They will showcase the new concept for the possible renovation of the Sam Ketcham Pool that has been modified based on information gathered during the last round of public consultations this past June.
