Police search for suspects in double shooting

Police have confirmed two men were injured in a targeted double shooting in Williams Lake Saturday evening.

Police have confirmed two men were injured in a targeted double shooting in Williams Lake Saturday evening.

According to North District Advisory NCO Cpl. Dave Tyreman, police first received the report of the shooting at 4:57 p.m. in the 3000 block of Mackenzie Avenue north.

Officers arrived on scene to find that two males had been shot, one possibly suffering life threatening injuries and the other with minor injuries.

Police believe this to be a targeted incident and are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or any businesses in the area that may have a surveillance camera that points onto the street in this area.
