A sergeant with the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit is releasing few details about a police incident Thursday afternoon in Williams Lake.
Media relations officer Sgt. Lindsey Houghton said Friday police executed a search warrant in relation to an ongoing investigation.
Witnesses in the lakecity saw heavily armed officers briefly shut down Mackenzie Avenue in the 1100 block.
"We may be in a position to release some details early next week," Houghton said.
