Pilot sent to hospital after crash

A pilot flying an ultra light aircraft crashed near Rosa Lake between Chimney and Felker lakes south of Williams Lake Saturday.

A pilot flying an ultra light aircraft crashed near Rosa Lake between Chimney and Felker lakes south of Williams Lake Saturday.

Glen Friesen at the Transportation Safety Board says he was advised of the incident at about 4 p.m. that day.

Friesen says the pilot was seriously injured and airlifted to the burn unit at Vancouver General Hospital.

The investigation is being conducted by the TSB.

No further information was available by press time.
