The RCMP have issued a Canada-wide warrant for parolee Jermaine Horatio Oates.

The Prince George RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating Jermaine Horatio Oates, wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for being unlawfully at large.

The arrest warrant was issued Wednesday, Sept. 23, after Oates, 28, failed to return to his designated residence in Prince George on Sept. 22.

All efforts to locate Oats to date have been negative, and although Oates is not originally from B.C., it is believed he is still in the area.

The police are describing him as a First Nations male, 189 centimetres tall and weighing 98 kilograms. He has short black hair, brown eyes and "New World Order" tattoos on both upper arms and a "MOB" tattoo across his neck.

Oates has a lengthy criminal history and should be considered violent, the RCMP said.

If located, call 9-1-1 immediately.

Anyone with information about Oates or where he might be, is asked to call the Prince George RCMP at (250)561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-8477, online at www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca (English only), or Text-A-Tip to CRIMES (274637) using keyword "pgtips".
