Nominate a difference maker for Rick Hansen relay

If you know a difference maker, someone you feel has helped make Williams Lake and the Central Cariboo a better place to live, perhaps you should nominate him or her to complete the final leg of the Rick Hansen Man in Motion 25th Anniversary Relay.

If you know a difference maker, someone you feel has helped make Williams Lake and the Central Cariboo a better place to live, perhaps you should nominate him or her to complete the final leg of the Rick Hansen Man in Motion 25th Anniversary Relay.

The relay visits Williams Lake on March 25, 2012.

The individual will have the honour of carrying the Rick Hansen medal onto the stage during the end of day celebration held at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex.

If you know an individual who is a shining example of an ordinary person with an extraordinary story of determination, excellence, and teamwork, pick up a nomination form at the complex or city hall and return it by Oct. 31.

Nominations will be reviewed by the community organizing committee, and three worthy individuals will be recommended for consideration by the Rick Hansen Foundation, which will make the final selection.
