A 24-year-old Williams Lake man has died following a motor vehicle incident on Dog Creek Road Sunday morning.
The Williams Lake RCMP say the incident was reported at about 5:15 a.m. on Sunday, June 12.
Police attended the scene on Dog Creek Road at Bowe Road and located a deceased male.
The investigation has revealed that the male driver and lone occupant of a motorbike lost control in the north-bound lane of Dog Creek Road and veered off into the ditch.
Police say speed may have been a factor.
A traffic analyst attended the scene.
Police are not releasing the name of the deceased at this time.
The Williams Lake RCMP, the Cariboo Chilcotin Traffic Service, and the BC Coroner Services are continuing their investigation.
