Missing person Eddie Williams has been found and is medically fine, just cold, said the RCMP.

“It turned out exactly as we’d hoped. He is safe,” Williams Lake RCMP Staff Sgt. Ken Brissard said.

“We couldn’t have done it without the volunteers at Search and Rescue and the general public that helped with the search. It’s certainly a good news story.”

William attended his school at Thompson Rivers University and reportedly left at noon on Wednesday Nov. 21. When he failed to meet his care aid worker at 5 p.m. the RCMP and Search and Rescue were notified.

“He was located in the area which we we’re concentrating our search — Hodgson Road, Roberts Drive, and the Winger Road area,” Brissard said.
