Marijuana plants found after trailer explosion near Williams Lake

On April 23, the Williams Lake RCMP received a call at 7:07 a.m. from a concerned neighbour that there had a been an explosion in a trailer.

On April 23, the Williams Lake RCMP received a call at 7:07 a.m. from a concerned neighbour that there had a been an explosion in a trailer located at the end of Selkirk Road in the Dog Creek Road area.

Officers arrived on scene to find that the back end of the trailer had received significant damage due to the explosion.

Inside the trailer officers located approximately 50 marijuana plants.

No occupants were located in the trailer and the investigation is still ongoing to determine the cause of the explosion, says Sgt. Rick LeBeuf of the Williams Lake RCMP.
