Ken LePage and his Grade 5/6 class run the recycling program at Marie Sharpe Elementary School. Every week students pick up plastics from each classroom in the school, and bring them to the recycling. “The class is learning how reduce, reuse, and recycle,” Lepage said. “It’s really easy to do, and every student enjoys participating.” His class also recycles paper, cardboard, and runs a compost.
