Peter Murtagh (left) and Davan Durrell were among the parents who volunteered to build Marie Sharpe Elementary School’s new playground. The $40,000 to purchase the equipment was raised through fundraisers and grant money. In- kind donations from businesses were also vital in making it a reality.
