Police search for suspects after victim stabbed multiple times

A 27-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed several times in Williams Lake early Sunday morning.

Staff Sgt. Del Byron said police were called to the scene at 1:52 a.m. at the corner of Broadway Avenue South and Lakeview Crescent, near the Overlander Pub where it is believed the conflict started.

Byron said the victim was violently stabbed multiple times and has been flown out of the community for further medical treatment.

“He has life threatening injuries.”
