Man robbed at knifepoint downtown

Staff Sgt. Del Byron said three young First Nations suspects used an eight-inch fixed blade knife to carry out a robbery against a man in the his 30s as he walked the back alley behind the CIBC bank.

“This is alarming,” said Byron of the crime, noting the suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim at approximately 3:11p.m.

All three suspects are described as being between 18 and 21 years old, wearing dark clothing. One had a tattoo on his hand that reads “IOS” while another has a hand tattoo that says “thug.” The third has a neck tattoo.
