Just before 6:30 a.m. Friday (June 23), emergency responders were called to Highway 97 at Keis Avenue. There they found a single-vehicle motor vehicle incident involving the rollover of a pickup truck.

Personnel attended to the scene from RCMP, BC Ambulance Service, Quesnel Fire Rescue Department and Commercial Vehicle Safety & Enforcement. Witnesses say the vehicle went off the road, partially climbed the adjacent bank, then rolled back onto the driving area.

“The lone occupant of the vehicle had minor injuries. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the collision,” said Quesnel RCMP Sgt. Clay Kronebusch.
