Williams Lake's Kids Running for Kids brought along a special guest, Carey Price, to this year's Stampede Parade.
Montreal Canadiens goaltender and Anahim Lake's Carey Price sat atop the group's float during the parade. Price also participated in the team roping event at Stampede Friday evening.
Kids Running for Kids embarks today at 3 p.m. from the Williams Lake Secondary School track before running, relay style, the distance it would take to get to Vancouver's BC Children's Hospital. There, they will personally deliver a cheque for more than $50,000.
