The City will begin issuing Increased parking violation fines in the coming weeks.
New fines are set at $75, with Class A and B violations reduced to a $25-fine if paid within five calendar days.
Violations include over parking in one- or-two-hour zones, parking for 48 hours, and parking more than 12 inches from the curb.
Council adopted the increased fines on April 5 in order to encourage prompt payment of parking tickets.
