Today is the last day to have your HST referendum voting packages in.
Voters have until 4:30 p.m. today, Aug. 5, to deliver them.
Since it would be too late to mail them to Elections BC, the packages can be dropped off at the Service B.C. Centre at 540 Borland St. in Williams Lake.
The question on the ballot reads: “Are you in favour of extinguishing the HST (harmonized sales tax) and reinstating the PST (provincial sales tax) in conjunction with the GST (goods and services tax)?”
In other words, if you are in favour of the HST, vote no. If you are against the HST and want the old PST system back, vote yes.
