Homeowner bear-sprayed after B&E

A homeowner who interrupted a break and enter in the 1400 block of Western Avenue Sept. 15 was allegedly sprayed with bear spray.

A homeowner who interrupted a break and enter in the 1400 block of Western Avenue Sept. 15 was allegedly sprayed with bear spray.

The individual returned home to find two First Nations teenage males in his residence.

The two suspects fled on foot. One suspect is described as being in his mid-to-late teens, 5’6”, 140 pounds and wearing a black hoodie. The other suspect is described as being in his early teens, 5’4”, 120 pounds, and wearing a red hoodie. RCMP patrols and the police dog service were unable to locate the suspects.
