The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure says the 148-Mile-House project south of Williams Lake is scheduled to be completed near the end of November.

The project is described as “complex” with a combination of bridge structures, major culverts, environmental and electrical work and grade construction and paving. The major bridge on the highway and the bulk of the grade work has been completed.

Work remaining includes the installation of a pipe arch culvert required for Valley Creek, a fish bearing stream; a pedestrian underpass near Pigeon Road; completion of the grade works; construction of the road-base paving; and clean-up work including hydro seeding.
