Highway 97 south of Williams Lake has reopened following a motor vehicle incident Friday morning (April 1).

The incident had closed Highway 97 in both directions near Lac La Hache.

DriveBC noted the closure was 25 kilometres south of Maze Lake Road. There was no detour available.

There is no word on the extent of injuries of those involved, however, an helicopter was seen responding to the scene.
