Highway 97 reopened at 70 Mile House after closure

A vehicle incident caused the closure

Update (1:30 p.m.): The highway is now reopened

Original (12: 55 a.m.): Highway 97 is closed in both directions after a vehicle incident at North Bonaparte Road in 70 Mile House.

The estimated time of opening is not available and an assessment is underway.

Drive BC estimates the next update will be at 2 p.m.
