A gas leak at the construction site at Safeway closed down the downtown area this afternoon.
The Downtown area, from the Front Street to Kinchant, East-West, Shepherd to Carson, North-South, is closed down. Neither pedestrians nor cars are allowed in the area.
*4:00 edit – The highway is now opened again, though the downtown is still closed.
