Gaming grants awarded

Three community organizations in Williams Lake and 100 Mile House are receiving Community Gaming Grants.

Three community organizations in Williams Lake and 100 Mile House are receiving Community Gaming Grants totaling $223,125 to assist in programs related to youth and families.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Williams Lake is receiving $70,000 with a large portion of funding contributing to the in-school mentoring program. The Boys and Girls Club of Williams Lake is also receiving $55,000 for recreation and nutrition programming.

The 100 Mile House and District Women’s Society is receiving $17,000 in funding.
