Four men were arrested Wednesday near 105 Mile House for what is believed to be illegal drug production.

The arrests occurred after an investigational team comprised of RCMP officers from 100 Mile House, Williams Lake, Kamloops and the Lower Mainland executed a search warrant on Abel Lake Road near 105 Mile House.

"A large indoor marijuana grow operation and small clandestine lab for the manufacture of butane Honey oil (BHO) was discovered," Cpl. Dave Tyreman said in a press release Thursday.

Police seized approximately 50 pounds of drying marijuana bud, 491 high-yielding marijuana plants, several firearms, more than$7,000 in cash, along with a pickup truck and quad.

The males have been released from police custody on promises to appear at the 100 Mile House Provincial Court on November 10, 2015.

"This marijuana grow operation had one medicinal marijuana licence registered to the property which was believed to have been used to facilitate illegal drug production," RCMP said, noting they will be continuing investigation into this matter for further offences under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the Criminal Code.
