A Williams Lake woman has died following a single vehicle crash at 111 Mile House Wednesday.
On Feb. 3, at 5:09 p.m. members of the 100 Mile House RCMP and Cariboo Chilcotin Traffic Services responded to the crash involving a single vehicle that had gone off the roadway coming to rest on its roof.
"The lone occupant of the vehicle succumbed to her injuries," said Cpl. Darren King in a press release.
Police said alcohol and drugs are not believed to be a factor and the investigation into the collision is continuing.
Highway 97 was closed for about four hours while police investigated the scene.
Details surrounding the victim, including her name and age, are not being released at this time.
