The big green Fairness Express bus will be in Williams Lake tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 28 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Boitanio Park.

The Fairness Express tour is a grassroots campaign spearheaded by the National Union of Public and General Employees (NUPGE) in association with the BC Government and Service Employees’ Union (BCGEU) and the Health Sciences Association of BC (HSA BC).

The bus is travelling through cities and towns across British Columbia between August 15 and September 21.

The centrepiece of the campaign is a big green bus called the "Fairness Express" which is a rolling roadshow of public service employees from across the province.

The aim of the campaign is to foster local discussions about growing income inequality and related issues in B.C. and Canada.

Organizers encourage the public and media to visit the bus and join the discussion about tax fairness, good jobs, public services and labour rights.
