Emergency crews are dealing with a hazardous chemical spill in 100 Mile House.
As a result Peter Skene Odgen School in 100 Mile House is closed for the day and school buses will not be picking up students today.
All other schools in the 100 Mile House area are open as usual and bus pickups and deliveries are on their regular schedules.
Residents were notified through the region's emergency notification system just before 7 a.m. Thursday and an alert is on the School District 27 website.
