Emergency responders attended a single vehicle accident Wednesday on Highway 97 just South Pigeon Road at 150 Mile House.

Central Cariboo Search and Rescue Chief Rick White told the Tribune there was one woman trapped inside a pickup truck on its side in the ditch when they arrived.

“We stabilized the truck first and then extracted her. She was taken to the hospital by B.C. Emergency Health Services,” White said.

Members of the 150 Mile House Volunteer Fire Department and Williams Lake RCMP also attended, he added.
