Names of the Lake City Secondary School campuses were changed back to their former names after considerable debate by school trustees Tuesday evening.
The Western Campus name will be changed to Columneetza Campus reflecting the school's former name as a secondary school.
The Carson Campus will become the Williams Lake Campus in keeping with that school's former secondary school name.
The trustees made the decision after a lengthy debate on Roberts Rules of Order surrounding the bylaw that set up the first name change back in May.
Since then the trustees have been lobbied by the public to change the campus names back to their historical names.
