Ron Hume of Williams Lake is a prime example of dedicated volunteer. He has given hours of his time to support high school rodeo, both in Williams Lake and in the provincial association of British Columbia. He has served as a B.C. director and been involved with the Williams Lake High School Rodeo Club for most of its existence.
There isn’t much he hasn’t done (from fundraising to garbage-picking and everything in between) and this past weekend he was there to help, running the tractor, raking and grooming the arena ground and operating the roping chute for all of the timed events.
