The new Williams Lake Community Policing board has been announced.
Andy Sullivan has taken over the leadership as board president from Darrell Orosz, who has moved to the past president role.
Bob Sunner is the vice president, Donna Marie Cyr is the treasurer, and Harriet Hird is the secretary.
Dr. Elmer Thiessen, Grant Martin, Bob Patterson, Gail Lucier, and Sabena Thompson are the new directors.
Inspector Warren Brown thanks the outgoing board members and volunteers who make up the many valuable community programs that are operational.
“We have had a very successful year and will continue to promote and enhance the programs,” Brown says. “The Williams Lake Community Policing team is always looking for volunteers who would like to join and continue to assist making Williams Lake a very safe community. Crime in our community continues to drop.”
