Two more all-candidates forums are taking place in the coming weeks.

An all-candidates meeting for mayoral candidates will take place Monday, Nov. 7 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Thompson Rivers University, and an all-candidates forum for council candidates will take place on Monday, Nov. 14 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the TRU cafeteria.

Groups sponsoring the forums include TRU, the School District 27 Teachers Association, Williams Lake Field Naturalists, Cariboo-Chilcotin Conservation Society, Williams Lake Environmental Society, and other community groups.

A press release from forum organizers says the public is invited to attend and “be ready to vote on Nov. 19.”

The release says Kerry Cook and Walt Cobb will be ready for questions  at the mayoral meeting, while Scott Nelson isn’t expected to attend. All councillor candidates except Tanessa Fairburn are expected to attend the forum held the following week.

Those who have questions for the candidates are asked to attend early and write them down so they can be included.
